Set this mode when using the lens'
built-in macro feature for taking close-
up shots of flowers, insects, etc,
■ For dark or backlit (fill-in flash) subjects, the
built-in flash pops up and fires automatically.
Set the Command Dial to ft
.
• The picture-taking procedure is the same as for
the Full Auto mode (page 16).
* Focus the subject at the lens’ minimum focusing distance.
* If a zoom lens is used, use the longest focai length to obtain a larger magnification.
* For better close-ups, an EF macro lens and Macro Ring Lite ML-3 (both sold separately)
are recommended.
