Creating a Common Storage Location

Each web server cluster requires a common storage location. The common storage location can be on
the same machine as the first web server in your cluster, or on another machine. As an example, the
following procedure uses a shared folder called Web_data on the first web server in the cluster.

Procedure

Step 1

Create a folder called drive:\Web_data and change it to a shared folder.

Step 2

From drive:\Web_data, create a folder called MPWeb.

Step 3

From drive:\Web_data\MPWeb, create a folder called Meetings. You should now have the following
directory structure:

drive:\Web_data

drive:\Web_data\MPWeb

drive:\Web_data\MPWeb\Meetings
