Getting Help
Sony provides several support options for your Sony PC. When you have
questions about your PC and the preinstalled software, check these places
for answers:
iJ This guide explains how to set up and upgrade your computer, use
the A/V Suite and the Communication Center software, and perform
basic computer tasks. The Getting Started Guide explains how to set up
and upgrade your computer, and perform basic computer tasks.
□ The Sony PC Reference Manual provides detailed information about
the hardware in your Sony PC, as well as how to set up and upgrade
your system. It is included with your PC as an electronic document.
□ The other manuals and online help files that may accompany your
preinstalled software contain Instructions on using these titles. Some
applications include a printed manual, but most of the manuals are
located on your hard disk drive as online help files. You can access
the online help files from the Help menu in the specific application or,
from the Start menu, select Help Center/Stepl Sony PC Help Library.
□ The About Your Sony PC guide lists the telephone support numbers
-for your preinstalled software titles. This guide also includes a
packing list and technical specifications for your Sony PC. It is
included with your PC as an electronic document.
□ The Sony Sales and Marketing Support number offers information
about your Sony PC and other Sony products that work with
your PC. To contact Sony Sales and Marketing Support, call

commonly asked questions. You can use this automated service to
request a list of available topics and then select the topics that you
