Playback
General Playback Features
1. Load your chosen disc in the tray, with the piayback side down.
2. Starts piayback using HOME menu (see page 16).
3. To stop the piayback, press STOP (■).
The unit records the stopped point, depending on the disc. “■■■” appears on the screen briefiy.
Press PLAY (►) to resume piayback (from the scene point), if you press STOP (■) again or unioad the disc
(“■” appears on the screen.), the unit wiii ciear the stopped point.
4. Press OPEN/CLOSE (^) to remove the disc.
Press OPEN/CLOSE (^) to cióse disc tray or press POWER ((!)), the disc tray cioses automaticaiiy and unit
turns off.
Note:
if Parentai Controi is set and the disc is not within the DVD Rating settings (not authorized), the 4-digit code
must be entered and/or the disc must be authorized (see “DVD Rating”, on page 21).
Buttons Operations Discs
OPEN/CLOSE (±) Opens or cioses the disc tray. Aii Discs
PAUSE/STEP (II) During piayback, press PAUSE/STEP (II) to pause
piayback.
Aii Discs or
Press PAUSE/STEP (II) repeatediy to piay Frame-by-Frame.
Tip:
You can advance or back up the picture frame-by-frame by
pressing ◄ / ► repeatediy during PAUSE mode.
The picture frame-by-frame in reverse is not avaiiabie for
Video CD.
DVD ALL I VCD
SKiP (!◄◄ / ►>!) During piayback, press SKiP (!◄◄ or ►►!) to go to the next
chapter/track or to return to the beginning of the current [ i TO; i
chapter/track.
Press SKiP twice briefiy to step back to the previous
chapter/track.
Tips:
• To go directiy to any chapter during DVD piayback, press
DiSPLAY twice and press A / T to seiect the chapter
icon. Then, input the chapter number or use ◄ / ►.
• On an Audio CD, to go directiy to any track, enter the
track number using the numbered buttons (0-9) during
piayback.

ZOOM During piayback or pause mode, press ZOOM to eniarge
the video image.

You can move through the zoomed picture using ◄ ► A T
buttons.
