moisture. When using camera near
water, guard against splashes, espe­
cially salt water spray.

If camera malfunctions, take it imme­
diately to an authorized Nikon dealer
or service center.
9. Do not lubricate the camera.
10 . Store camera in a cool, dry place
away from naphthalene or camphor
(moth repellents). In a humid envi­
ronment, store camera inside a
vinyl bag with a desiccant to keep
out dust, moisture and salt.
Note, however, that storing the
leather case in a vinyl bag may
cause leather to deteriorate.
