USING WIDE-FLASH ADAPTER

The angle of illumination of the
SB-22 covers the picture angle of
a 35 mm lens. When the wide-flash
adapter stored in the flash head is
set, it increases the angle of cover
age, allowing the SB-22 to be used

with a 28 mm lens. When the wide-

flash adapter is used, the guide

number is reduced to 18 (ISO 100

and meters) or 9 (ISO 25 and

meters), and the shooting distance

range for automatic operation

changes. With the sliding move
ment of the wide-flash adapter, the

distance scale changes accord

ingly.

Tilt the flash head to the 90° po

sition. Slide out the wide-flash
adapter to cover the flash head.

Turn the flash head to its original

position.

Tilt the flash head to the 90° po
sition. Then, while pushing the
wide-flash adapter lock button,
slide the wide-flash adapter into
the pocket. Turn the flash head to

its original position.
