*The level of sound is autonnatically controlled by
ALC. If the sound is too low or distorted when
monitored, adjust the level of the sound source.
3. Depress the shutter lever all the way to start
filming.
Attaching the Microphone and Remote Control
HIming Using the Microphone
With this camera, remote control filming is possible
by means of the microphone.
1. Turn both the main switch of the camera and the
microphone switch off.
2. Insert the microphone plug into the camera.
3. Depress the shutter release lever halfway to
monitor sound with the earphone.
4. Depress the shutter release lever all the way, and
set the main switch to "RL". To start filming,
switch the microphone on. Look at the cue light to
confirm that remote control filming is taking place.
*Please be extremely careful when you operate the
microphone switch in order to avoid noise.
* Please make sure to change the position of the
main switch from "RL" before pulling the micro
phone cord out. If you pull the cord before you do
so, film will be wasted.
