CAMERA MAINTENANCE
However fine a camera is, it cannot function
optimally unless it is correctly taken care of.
Please observe the following practices to keep
it in best possible operating condition.
Cleaning
The camera must be kept clean. Use a blower
brush to periodically remove dust, which will
otherwise smudge the film, from the film gate
on the inner lefthand side of the film com
partment. A blower brush is also recommend
ed for removing dust from the lens. By all
means, refrain from touching the lens. If
fingerprints should accidentally appear on the
lens, use the blower brush and then wipe it
lightly with a clean, soft cloth or with lens
cleaning paper slightly moistened with a cou
ple drops of lens cleaner. A silicon cloth is
recommended for cleaning the body only. Salt
and sand are the camera's worst enemies.
Clean it well after using it on the beach.
Storage
First unload the batteries and then store the
camera in a dry place free from dust. You
