Charging the Battery Pack
BP-31 or BP-32
The Battery Charge Connector provided with the
Canon Compact Power Adapter CA-30 may be used
to charge the portable Canon Battery Pack BP-31 or
BP-32.
1.
Make sure that the power switch of the adapter is
at “0".
2.
Plug
the
battery-side
connector
of
the
Battery
Charge Connector into the terminai on the Battery
Pack as shown in the diagram.
3.
Plug the other end into the charge terminal on the
Compact Power Adapter.
4.
Set the power switch to "1"; the battery charge
lamp will light up.

The charging indicator will go out when the battery
pack is charged to a usable level. (This will be ap
proximately 150 min for the BP-31, or 180 min. for
the BP-32.) Note, however, that the battery pack is
not fully charged at this point, and a full charge is
recommended
in
order
to
make
the
battery
pack
last longer. This will require an additional 150 min.
for the BP-31 or 180 min. for the BP-32,
■ Do not charge the battery tor over 24 hours.
