Entering a number

Whenex er you are prompted to enter a lax number or a telephone number, follow these

procedures.

Use the numeric buttons to enter the number.

You can enter up to 20 digits for your fax number or 100 digits for a speed dialing

n umber.

Be sure to enter I and the area code, if necessary, to dial a different area code.

Do not enter dashes, slashes, commas, or other punctuation.

To enter a space between numbers, press |.SPACE|.

If you make a mistake, press 1CLHAR| and enter the number again.

To erase a pre\ iously registered number, press |CEEAR|. You can also enter a new

number oxer the old one.

Press IP.ALJSEl at the desired point in the sequence when entering a series of

digits.

pause w ithin a number is 2 seconds long. The length of this pause can be

adjusted, see MID PAUSE SET in TX SETTINGS, pg.88. A pause at the end of

a number is fixed at 10 seconds.
