Place Seat in a comfortable paddling position

On the outside of the hull, measure 12 inches forward from the front
of the seat and 2 inches down from the “part” line (the faint ridge
made where the two molds come together in the molding process) and
mark the location

Hold the foot brace track over the mark on the hull so that it shows
through the last hole. Mark the first hole at the other end of the track,
towards the bow, 2” below the “part” line. See Fig.#1

Drill the holes using the 3/16” drill bit.

Repeat on the other side of the Boat

Check the orientation of the foot pedal before attaching the track
to the hull. The treads of the pedal should face the seat.

Screw 1” bolts into the holes from the outside

Place Pedal Stop into each end of the footbrace tracks so the high
back of the stop is toward the middle of the track. See Fig. #3. The
hole in each stop should align with the last hole in each end of the
track.

Slip track onto the bolts ensuring the bolt goes through the track and
pedal stop. Place lock nuts on the bolt ends. The nut should fit
snugly into the hexagonal hole in the pedal stop. Use wrench and
screwdriver to tighten bolts completely. See Fig.#4.
