ELECTRO SAMSON
CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
1. Add a 9-volt battery and switch on.
2. Suspend scale from depositor.
3. Press ‘on’ key, the LCD will show ‘8888’ and then zero.
4. Set units to Kg or Lb.
5. With the Electrosamson powered off Press & hold “ON/ZERO” key.
Whilst holding “ON/ZERO” key, press “UNIT” key three (3) times.
Scale goes into “ZERO” mode. If value shown is between:
(i) 500 & 4000 for 10 Kg/22 Lb
(ii) 500 & 4000 for 25 Kg/55 Lb
(iii) 500 & 4000 for 45 Kg/100 Lb
press “ON/ZERO” key. Display shows “0”.
6. Add appropriate load to Scale as follows: -
(i) For 10kg/22lb – Add 10 kg or 22 lb
(ii) For 25kg/55lb – Add 10 kg or 22 lb
(iii) For 45kg/100lb – Add 20 kg or 44 lb
Allow Scale to settle.
7. If the span value shown is steady and between: -
(i) 5000 & 9000 for 10 kg/22 lb
(ii) 3000 & 5000 for 25 kg/55 lb
(iii) 3000 & 5000 for 45 kg/100 lb
press “ON/ZERO” key.
“CAL” is displayed and then by appropriate load e.g. “10.00”
8. Remove load & switch off.
9. Recheck calibration.
(If out of calibration repeat instruction 3,4,5 and 6)
