Setting example

Light up a white subject (such as white paper)
using the light source, capture it using the entire
screen, and execute “One-shot WB”.

Note

● Since the light source setting is based on major characteristics of each lighting

type, the correct color may not be reproduced depending on the actual lamp used.

In this case, use the “One-shot WB” function.

● If the image is greenish when shooting an object under a mercury lamp while the

White Balance option is set to “Auto”, select “Mercury Light” in the Light Source

option. If the image color is still not correct after changing the light source to the

“Mercury Lamp”, return the setting to “Auto”.

● When shooting images day and night continuously.

If you shoot an object, which shows little change in appearance in an environment

where the light source gradually changes (e.g. continuous outdoor shooting for

day and night), the image may show an incorrect color.

In this case, pan, tilt, or zoom function to alter the image and return to the correct

color.

● If you shoot a single color object or shoot images under sodium-vapor lamp or

mercury lamp, it may be difficult to adjust the color automatically.
