5. Specify the internal interface gateway to which you want to assign the new bridge-group.

The interface gateway number is the same as the physical slot number of the Ethernet gateway that
you are configuring (in this example, the number is 2).

Enter interface gateway physical slot#.

Specify the new bridge group.

6. Return to User-Exec mode and view the bridge-group.

Enter exit.

Enter exit.

Enter show bridge-group:

All configured bridging-ports are displayed.

7. Configure the Ethernet hosts by entering ifconfig eth# ip-address netmask netmask.

Log in to the host as a root user.

Enter ifconfig eth# subnet# netmask #
