Weatherproof the Super USB WiFi Antenna

Although this antenna is not weatherproof it can be made so by using

some common supplies.

Directions:
Step 1: Drill a 3/4 inch diameter hole in the center of the PVC plug. Insert USB cable as shown in picture below.
Step 2: Cut slit to center of rubber grommet. Fit grommet around USB cable and fit into drilled hole snuggly.
Step 3: Attach the Super USB WiFi antenna to USB cable.
Step 4: Align parts in this order: PVC Plug (with antenna) > PVC Coupler > PVC Pipe > PVC Cap.
Step 5: Use PVC cement to glue the PVC Coupler to PVC Pipe. Cementing other PVC parts together is optional.
Step 6: Attach all PVC pieces together.

Notes: You may want to keep the top PVC Cap unglued for future antenna accessibility. PVC is a great material for
WiFi because it passes signal well. Using metal brackets to mount the enclosure may reduce wifi reception. Zip ties
can be used to mount the enclosure to a pole. Be sure that the USB cable is firmly attached to the antenna before
the enclosure is sealed. Do not let the USB cable hang freely because it may detach from the antenna inside.
