A Using the sleep timer

This timer turns your system OFF at the set time (Max. 2 hours,
settable at 30-minute intervals). It lets you fall asleep listening to

music.

Preparation

Switch on the unit.

The figure shows how to set the system to standby mode after 30

minutes.

While enjoying the desired source:

Press [SLEEP] to select the desired time.

Every time you press the button:

SLEEP 30 — SLEEP 60 — SLEEP 90 — SLEEP 120 — SLEEP OFF

The system is turned off after the set time has elapsed.

To cancel the sleep timer:

Press [SLEEP] to select “SLEEP OFP.

To confirm the remaining time:

(only while system is ON)
Press [SLEEP].

To change the time remaining during operation;

Press [SLEEP] to show the remaining time then press [SLEEP] to
select the desired time.

The sleep timer turns OFF automatically the moment you attempt

to edit-record a CD using CD Manager function.

• The sleep timer can be used in combination with the piay/record

timer.
The sleep timer always has priority.

Be sure not to overlap timer settings.

Listening wth heodphones

Reduce the volume level, and connect the headphones.
Plug type: 3,5 mm stereo
