EDITING ALBUMS

Track Shuffle

Track Level

You can change the order of tracks in an album.

1 ■ If 'Track Shuffle” is selected (P.52), the following

screen appears.

lithe edit menu is selected during playback, the unit
automatically selects the item to be edited. In this case, skip to

since you do not need to select an item.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to select the album to change its track’ order.

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote

control) to confirm the album.

The number of the track to be moved flashes.

Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed seleelion.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (+/- on the remote

control) to select the track to be moved.

5.

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote

control) to confirm the track.

The display scrolls lo the left to indicate the number of the
album lo change its tracks’ order, the number of the track lo be
moved, and the new track number.

Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed seleelion.

6. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to select the new track number.

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote

control) to confirm the new track number.

Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed selection.

Press COMPLETE.

The selecled track has been moved and assigned a new miinber.

You cau adjust the sound level of track in an album.

Album to adjust its tracks’ level

If the edit menu is selecled during playback, the unit
automatically selects the item to be edited. In this case, skip to
step 6 since you do not need to select an item.

2i Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to select the album to adjust its tracks’ level.

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote

control) to confirm the album.

The number of the track to adjust its level flashes.

Press CLEAR lo cancel the confirmed seleelion.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (+/- on the remote

control) to select the track to adjust.

5.

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote

control) to confirm the track.

Playback of the confirmed track starts, and the following
message appears on Ihe display.

Press CLEAR lo cancel Ihe confirmed selectiirn.

6a Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to adjust the level.

Adjusfmenl is possible in Ihe -l2dB lo +l2dB range by 0.4dB
steps.

You can compare the level with the previous or next track' level
by pressing KKi/<Ki or w>/w;s

or ►w on the remote

control).

7.

Press COMPLETE.

The level of the selected track is confirmed.

This unit returns to the editing menu item selection. (If the edit
meiiu is carried on during playback, phiyback restarts.)
