6a Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to select the new track number.

7a Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote

control) to confirm the new track number.

Press CLEAR lo cancel the confirmed selection.

Press COMPLETE.

The selecled track is renumbered.

This unit returns to the editing menu item selection. (If the edit
menu is carried on during playback; playback restarts.)

Memo

• If the selected Jiew track number is already in use, the tracks

following this renumbered track will be automatically up-
numbered by one. However, if there is any unused track number,
only the tracks up to that number will be Lip-numbered.

• The original number of the track that has been renumbered will be

available for future use.

Track Adjust

Yon can change the beginning of Ihe track forcvard or backward.

1. If “Track Adjust” Is selected (P.58), the following

screen appears.

if the edit inenn is selected during playback, the unit
automatically selects the item to be edited, in this case, skip to
step 6 since you do not need to select an item.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to select the disc that contains the track to
be adjusted.

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote

control) to confirm the disc.

The number of the track to be adjusted flashes.

Press CLEAR lo cancel the confirmed selection.

Select the track to be adjusted by rotating the MULTI

JOG knob (pressing +/- on the remote control).

5a Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote

control) to confirm the track.

The confirmed Iraek will be pltiyed.

The following message appears in the display.

EDITING TRACKS

Memo

if there is no track before the track that is selecled and
confirmed, “No Previous“ appears on the display, and this unit
returns to step 4. (If the edit menu is selected during playback,
the unit cancels the edit operation.)

6a Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to adjust the time length (displacement).

The time lenglh can be adjusled by “minule: second: frame".
(Frame is the unit used for values smaller than 1 second.

frames make 1 second.) The miit to be set is Hashing. Move the
Hash to Ihe unit lo be adjusted by pressing KM/<M or >i>/t>oi

(■♦^ or ►► on the remote control).

If you stop rolaling Ihe MULTI JOG knob, this unit searches
for the temporarily changed hegimiiiig point of the track
according to the time length setting made, and starts repeated
playback from the new heginning point to the end of the disc.

Press CLEAR to cancel the adjustment,

Press COMPLETE.

The new track beginning point is set.

menu is carried on during playback, playback reslarls.)

' If the adjusted track includes apart that cannot he copied digitally

before adjusting, the adjusted Irack itself cannot be copied
digitally either.

' When the emphasis status of the track to be adjusted is different

front that of the previous trtick. the emphasis status of the Irack to
be iidjtisled takes precedence over Ihe previous track.
