control) to confirm the beginning point of the partial
erase.

The passage between the temporary ending point of the p;irti;il
erase (the point that is 10 seconds after the beginning point)
and the point that is 5 seconds after the temporary ending point
is repeatedly played.

Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed selection.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote
control) to select the ending point of the partial
erase.

The ending point of the partial erase can be set by “minute:
second: frame". The unit to be set is Hashing. Move the Hash to
the unit to be set by pressing w<i /<w or w>/>w or ►►

on the remote control).

If you stop rotating the MULTI JOG knob, this unil searches
for the ending point according lo the setting made, and starts
repeated phiyback of the passage between the ending point :ind
the point that is 5 seconds after the ending point.

To change the beginning point, press CLEAR twice to retnrn to
step 6.

The selected ptirt is erased.

This unit returns to the editing menu item selection. (If the edit
menu is carried on during playback, playback restarts.)

The sound may be interrupted at the joint hut it will be played

properly after the partial erase is completed.

The miniinuni length of a track is four seconds. It is not

possible to create a track shorter than four seconds by erasing
partially.
