EDITING TRACKS
6a Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote
control) to specify the dividing point.
The dividing point can be set by "minute: second: frame”. The
iinil to be set is flashing. Move the Hash to the unit to be set by
pressing
KJ<]/<Ki or (-« or ►► on the remote control).
If you stop rotating the MULTI JOG knob, this unit searches
for the dividiirg point according to the setting made, and starts
repeated playback of the passage between the dividing point
and the point that is 5 seconds after the dividing point.

7. Press COMPLETE.
The selected track is divided into tw'o at the set dividing point.
This uitit returns to the editing menu item selection. (If the edit
menu is carried on during playback, playback restarts.)
• The minimum length of a track is four seconds. It is not possible
lo create a track that is shorter than four seconds by dividing a
track.
• One disc can contain up to 99 tracks. If the disc already contains
99 tracks, "Track No.Full” appears on the display.

The track numbers following the divided track will be up-ittimbered
by one. However, if there is any unused track number, only the
tracks up to that number will be up-numbered.

Track Pack
You can re-organize the track numbers by eliminating unused track
numbers, that have been created by changing track numbers or
erasing tracks.
1. If “Track Pack” is selected (P.58), the following
screen appears.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-on the remote
control) to select the disc to be organized.
3i Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the disc.
Press CLEAR lo ctincel the confirmed selection.
4.
Press COMPLETE.
The disc is re-organized by eliminating unused track numbers.
This unit returns lo the editing menu item selection.
