SYSTEM UTILITY
■ Setting the display brightness
(Dimmer Setup)
You can change the brightness of the display.
1 ■ Carry out steps 1 to 3 in “Checking the firmware
version (Firm. Version)” (P.73).
The display changes for the system utility item selection.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, or ▼ on the
remote controi) to seiect “Dimmer Setup”.

Press the MULTi JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
controi) to dispiay the current setting.
Rotating the MULTI JOG knob (pressing +/-, A or ▼ on the
remote control) changes the setting as tbllows.

Memo:
Inilial setting is “Dimmer Bright”.

Press the MULTi JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
controi) or COMPLETE.
The display brightness has been set.

Press o or MENU to exit.
The unit returns to the slop morle.
Setting the video output
(VIDEO Output)
You can switch the on-screen display output through the VI[)EO
OUT jiicks on and off.

remote control) to select “VIDEO Output”.

3i Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to display the current setting.
Rotating Ihe MULTI JOG knob (pressing +/-, A or ▼ on lire
remote control) switches the setting between “VIDEO On” and
“VIDEO Off”.

Inilial setting is “VIDEO On”.
4. Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) or COMPLETE.
The on-screen display output is set to on or off.
Memo
Select “VIDEO Off’ if Ihe on-screen display is not used so Ihtil you
can enjoy phiybtick or recording with higher quality sounds.
5i Press □ or MENU to exit.
The unit returns to lire stop mode.
