This manual has been written by Brian C. Swerdfeger, a member of the
FX770 development team.

Brian C. Swerdfeger knows guitarists and their gear. With experienee as
a professional guitarist himself, Brian’s quest for “great tone” started on
stage at Disneyland. Later, he opened his own guitar store that specialized
in custom guitars and professional guitar rack systems. As his reputation
grew, Brian’s design services were being requested by famous top
professionals and by the companies that create and manufacture the best
guitar equipment available today. In the last few years he has designed,
constructed, and programmed complete guitar systems for dozens of Top-

10 major label artists in all genres of music: from Metal to Jazz, Pop to

Country, and even several “Classic Rock” guitar heroes. In addition to
these credits, Brian also serves as a clinician and advisor to Yamaha.

Currently, Brian’s company Contempo Music & Media, produces owner’s
manuals and multimedia training materials. He also continues to design
and program custom guitar systems. Known for his casual and personal
style, guitarists everywhere can understand and relate to Brian, and
because of his experience and expertise, Brian can relate to them.
