Universal Fireplace Doors. Stop the loss of heat up a drafty, open fi replace fl ue. Radiant
heat from the heavy, quarter-inch steel surround, the high-temperature ceramic glass, and
the heavy-duty door frames means high BTU output.
Q. How much will Country Flame fi replace doors heat?
A. They are rated at 35,000 BTUs per hour.
Q. Can the doors be installed on masonry fi replaces?
A. Yes. On either masonry fi replaces or the Country Flame
fi replace furnace, they increase burn times and provide
much more heat than conventional doors.
Q. Can they be installed over rough stone facing?
A. Yes. Fill voids behind frame with insulation or cement.
Q. How long will the doors last?
A. Under normal use, the 1/4” plate steel frame and heavy
cast-iron doors should last a lifetime.
Q. Will they hold a fi re longer?
A. This airtight system offers the same type of control as
high-quality stoves and inserts. Many users report fi res
that burn overnight.
Q. How do I control the fi re?
A. Use the rotary air control on the 400 series and the
concealed easy-touch air control on the 500 series for
precise regulation.
Q. Are there restrictions on the use of these doors?
A. Yes. They cannot be installed over zero-clearance fi replaces.
