8. Tap Edit to return to the Edit screen.

Change VIP status of a Phonebook contact

Designate specific Phonebook contacts as VIPs for use in conjunction with the Block feature.
When the Block feature is set to ON, a VIP can ring through while all other callers are sent
directly to your office voicemail. See

Change the Block setting

on page 41 for more information.

To change the VIP status of a contact in your Phonebook:

1. On the Avaya one-X Mobile Home screen, tap

Phonebook.

Your Phonebook contacts appear. A star identifies contacts marked as VIPs.

2. Tap the contact you want to edit.

The Information screen appears.

3. Tap Edit.

The Edit screen appears.

4. In the vip box, tap the ON/OFF toggle button to turn the VIP status ON or OFF.

If marked as a VIP, this contact will be able to ring through when the Block feature
is set to ON. See

5. Tap Save.

The contact’s VIP status is changed, and you return to the Phonebook.

Send an e-mail to a Phonebook contact

If an e-mail address is included in the contact’s Phonebook information, you can send an e-mail
to the contact from the Avaya one-X Mobile Phonebook.
