Q] Use scissors to cut a 1" (2.5 cm) iong strip from

3 corners of the fabric. See illustration.

[U Starting from uncut corner (3), serge down the entrire

length of the fabric side. Serge one stitch past the fabric
edge.

Raise the needle and pressar foot.

Gently pull the thread chain off the chaining finger (
pivot the fabric.

I When you sew the next side, align the cutting line with

the upper knife. The needle position should match with
the previous row of stitching.
