HOW TO LOAD THE DISCS

(Be sure to read this before operation)

The rack is for discs No. 1 - 25 .

• You can load up to 25 discs in each rack.

• The hood cannot be opened if a disc is being played.

The hood cannot be opened for approximately 10 seconds after

playback has finished, or during disc search.

Be careful not to pinch your fingers when opening and closing the

hood.

• Open and close the hood slowly.

If a disc is inserted with its label-side facing to the left, it cannot be

played back. Be sure to load all discs with their label sides facing

to the right.

AWARNING:

Do not put your hand, or any other

objects inside the rack, otherwise injury
or part damage may result.

Load the disc into the
rack with the label

side (printed surface)

facing to the right.

By using the rack, you

can load a total of 25 discs.

Do not put anything other than CDs inside the rack.
Do not use adapters for 8-cm (3-in.) CDs.

Load only one disc into each disc slot.
Inserting an 8-cm (3-in.)CD in between two 12-cm (5-in.)CDs, will
make it difficult to remove the 8-cm (3-in.) CD.

We recommend inserting 12-cm (5-in.)CDs starting from the right

side and 8-cm (3-in.) CDs starting from the left side of the rack.

To remove the discs...

'^Open the hood when playback has stopped.

"^Remove the disc from the rack.

The hood cannot be opened if the rack is currently playing a disc,

during disc search, or during the first 10 seconds after playback

has finished.

If you try to open the hood in one of the previous situations,
"LOCK" will flash in the display. Close the hood immediately and

wait for "LOCK” to go out from the display before opening the

hood.
Playback will stop if you open the hood for longer than 2 seconds

when "LOCK" is flashing.

Be sure to remove all discs from the rack, set the STANDBY/ON

switch to off, wait for "OFF" to go out from the display, and unplug
the power cord before moving the unit.
When moving the product, be careful not to tilt it or apply strong
impact to it.
