VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH

The line voltage selector switch is located on the

rear panel of this unit.

Check that it is set properly before plugging the

power cord into the outlet. If the voltage Is not
properly set or If you move to an area where the

voltage requirements differ, adjust the selector
switch as follows:

Insert a medium-sized (flat blade) screwdriver's

tip in the groove of selector switch, and adjust so that the

groove is aligned to the voltage value of your area.

POWER-CORD CAUTION

Handle the power cord by the plug. Do not pull out the plug
by tugging the cord and never touch the power cord when

your hands are wet as this could cause a short circuit or elec­
tric shock. Do not place the unit, a piece of furniture, etc., on

the power cord, or pinch the cord. Never make a knot In the
cord or tie it with other cords. The power cords should be

routed in such a way that they are not likely to be stepped

on. A damaged power cord can cause fire or give you an
electrical shock. Check the power cord once In a while. When

you find it damaged, ask your nearest PIONEER authorized
service center or your dealer for a replacement.

COMMUTATEUR DE SELECTION DE TENSION

^ tué au panneau arrière de l'appareil.

Contrôlez si la tension sélectionnée est correcte
avant de brancher l'appareil à l'alimentation.

Réglez le commutateur de sélection comme suit,

si la tension sélectionnée est incorrecte ou si
vous vous déplacez dans une région où les
caractéristiques de tension diffèrent:

Introduisez la pointe d'un tournevis de taille moyenne (à
bout plat) dans la rainure du commutateur de sélection,
modifiez l'indication de tension conformément à la région

en question.

NOTE IMPORTANTE SUR LE CABLE D'ALI­
MENTATION

Tenir le câble d'alimentation par la fiche. Ne pas débran­
cher la prise en tirant sur le câble et ne pas toucher le câble

avec les mains mouilées. Cela risque de provoquer un court-
circuit ou un choc électrique. Ne pas poser l'appareil ou un

meuble sur le câble. Ne pas pincer le câble. Ne pas faire de
noeud avec le câble ou l'attacher à d'autres câbles. Les câ­
bles d'alimentation doivent être posés de façôon à ne pas

être écrasés. Un câble abîmé peut provoquer un risque d'in­
cendie ou un choc électrique. Vérifier le câble d'alimenta­

tion de temps en temps. Contacter le service après-vente
ou le revendeur PIONEER le plus proche pour un rempla­
cement.
