CD Sound Quality Adjustment (COMP SELECT)

Using the COMP (Compression) and DBE (Dynamic Bass Emphasis) functions enables
CD player sound quality adjustment. Both of the functions enable adjustment on two levels.

a COMP

The COMP (Compression) function eliminates distortions caused by imbalances between
loud and subdued sounds at higher volumes.

a DBE

DBE (Dynamic Bass Emphasis) boosts bass levels to give a fuller sound.

COMP/DBE ON/OFF Switching

1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the COMP/DBE switching mode

(COMP SELECT) in the Function Menu.

2. Select the desired mode in the following order:
