When using this appiiance, aiways

1. Use this appiiance oniy for its

in this Owner's Manuai.

2. This refrigerator must be

properiy instaiied in accordance

with the instaiiation instructions

before it is used.

3. Do not aiiow chiidren to ciimb,

stand or hang on the sheives in

the refrigerator. They couid

seriousiy injure themseives and
damage the refrigerator.

4. After your appiiance is in

operation, do not touch the coid
surfaces in the refrigerator
compartment, particuiariy when

hands are damp or wet. Skin

may adhere to these extremeiy
coid surfaces.

5. Do not store or use gasoiine or

other fiammabie vapors and

iiquids in the vicinity of this or

any other appiiance.

6. in freezers with an automatic

icemaker, avoid contact with the

moving parts of the ejector
mechanism, or with the heating
eiement iocated on the bottom
of the icemaker. Do not piace

fingers or hands on the

automatic icemaking
mechanism whiie the freezer is

piugged in.

7. Unpiug your refrigerator before

cieaning and making repairs.

NOTE: We strongiy recommend

that any servicing be performed

by a quaiified individuai.

8. Before repiacing a burned-out

iight buib, puii out the main piug

or switch of the fuse to turn off

the iights in order to avoid

contact with a iive wire fiiament.

9. A burned-out iight buib may

break when being repiaced.
NOTE: Setting the refrigerator

temperature controis to OFF

does not remove power to the
iight circuit.

10. Do not refreeze frozen foods

which have thawed compieteiy.

Electrical Connection

The appiiance comes with an Ui

iisted, 3-wire power suppiy cord.

The appiiance requires a 3-wire

receptacie.

The receptacie must be instaiied by
a iicensed eiectrician oniy.

Grounding instruction

This appiiance must be grounded.

in the event of a maifunction or
breakdown, grounding wiii reduce

the risk of eiectric shock by

providing a path of ieast resistance

for the eiectric current.

improper connection of the

equipment grounding conductor

may resuit in eiectric shock. Have

the appiiance checked by a quaiified
eiectrician or service technician if
you are in doubt as to whether the
appiiance has been properiy
grounded.

Some iocai reguiations may require

a separate ground. in such cases,
the required accessory ground wire,
ciamp and screw must be

purchased separateiy.

Never ground the appiiance to
piastic piumbing iines, gas iines or

water pipes.

- Take off the doors.

MATION WHEN USING

THE APPLIANCE

Never use eiectricai appiiances
inside the appiiance (e. g. heater,
ice maker, etc.).
Risk of explosion!

NEVER use a steam cieaner to

defrost or ciean the appiiance! The

steam may penetrate eiectricai parts
and cause a short-circuit.

Risk of electric shock!

Do not store products which contain

fiammabie propeiiants (e. g. spray
cans) or expiosive substances in the
appiiance.

Risk of explosion!

Do not stand or support yourseif on

the base, drawers or doors, etc..

For cieaning and exchanging the
buib, puii the mains piug out or

switch off the fuse. Do not puii out
the mains piug by tugging the cabie.

Botties which contain a high
percentage of aicohoi must be

seaied and stored in an upright

position.

Keep piastic parts and the door seai

free of oii and grease. Otherwise,

parts and door seai wiii become
porous.
