You can check the focus by pressing the shutter button halfway to enlarge the
image area in the AF frame.
Configure the setting.
Press the
n button, choose [AF-Point
Zoom] on the
4 tab, and then choose [On]
Check the focus.
Press the shutter button halfway. The face
detected as the main subject is now
magnified.
To restore the original setting, choose [Off] in
step 1.

The display will not magnify if a face was not detected, or if the
person is too close to the camera and his or her face is too large for
the screen.
•
The display will not magnify when using the digital zoom (p. 62) or Tracking AF
(p. 114).
