Re-attaching the white sensor roller
Follow this procedure to re-attach the white sensor roller if it falls out during cleaning.
1
Point the gear end of the roller shaft
to the left side of the scanner.

Insert the bushings on both ends of
the shaft into the guide grooves,
matching the flat sides of the bush-
ings with the flat sides of the of the
guide grooves.
3
Press down slightly on the installed
white sensor roller to confirm that it
moves.
Cleaning the scanner
Left Side
Gear
Bushing
White sensor roller
Guide groove
Flat side of bushing
Attach the right side in the same way.
