To enable Google Now, in the search window, touch > Settings > Google Now > ON >

To use all of Google Now’s functions, ensure that Google Location Reporting and Location
History are turned on in your location settings. Touch > Settings > Accounts &
privacy > Google location settings > Google Location Reporting and select your
options.

Canceling Google Now: In the search window, touch > Settings > Google Now > OFF,
select whether to disable location history, and then touch Turn off.
Use Google Voice Search
Use your voice to search instead of typing, with Google Voice Search.
1. From home, touch > Voice Search .
The Voice Search window opens.
2. Speak your search terms.
