Useful Functions
AQUOS CRYSTAL
Shutter clicks, and a translated photo and an original photo
are captured. Captured photos are saved to SD Card, and a
preview appears.
・Tap to toggle translated and original photos.
・Use two fingers on Display to rotate or zoom in/out on a
captured photo. Rotate photo so text is horizontal and can
be translated correctly.
・Tap translated Japanese and original English to search with
in an encyclopedia, English-Japanese dictionary, or on the
Internet. Touch & Hold to copy or share translated Japanese
and English translation results.

In Photo Viewfinder (Translation Finder), Set

・Open content to translate (English webpage, etc.)

Japanese translation appears.

View received information for earthquakes, tsunami, and other
disasters (receive setting is enabled at time of purchase).

Urgent News Cautions
Reception
Depending on usage/situation, handset may receive Urgent
News for other areas or no Urgent News. SoftBank Mobile
Corp. is not responsible for damages caused by using
this service, including accidents resulting from received
information, reception timing, or reception/reception
failure.
Standby Time
While Urgent News is enabled, standby time is shorter.
If Urgent News Arrives
and a message appear in Status Bar. Handset sounds quake
alert or disaster/evacuation information and tsunami alerts,
and vibrates.
・Urgent News is not received during calls or transmissions, or
when signal is weak.
・Alert sounds for arriving Urgent News even if in Manner
mode.
Drag Status Bar down for Notifications Window
Notifications Window opens.
