IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using the fl ood light, read this operator's manual, your battery pack and charger operator's manual, and
all labels on the battery pack, charger and fl ood light.
• Read and understand all the instructions before using the appliance.
• To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary
when an appliance is used near children.
• Store idle fl ood light out of reach of children. Warm fl ood lights can become hazardous in the hands of

children.

• Do not use outdoors.
• For a rechargeable appliance
- Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
• Know your fl ood light. Read this manual carefully to learn your fl ood light's applications and limitations as

well as potential hazards associated with this type of tool.

• Batteries must be recharged only with the charger specifi ed by the manufacturer. A charger that may be

suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fi re when used with another battery.

• Use fl ood light only with specifi cally designated battery pack. Use of any other batteries may create a risk

of fi re.

• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails,

screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting
the battery terminals together may cause sparks, burns, or a fi re.

• Maintain labels and nameplates. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact a

MILWAUKEE service facility for a free replacement.

When using

electric appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Inserting/Removing Battery Pack
Insert
the battery pack by sliding battery pack into the body of the tool. Insert the battery pack until the battery
latches lock.
To remove the battery pack, press in both battery latches and slide the battery pack off of the tool.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of injury, do not look directly into the light when the

fl ood light is on.

WARNING

Recharge only with the charger specifi ed for the battery. For specifi c charg-

ing instructions, read the operator’s manual supplied with your charger and battery.

Operation
To turn on the fl ood light, press the ON/OFF button

. The light will default to high mode. Press the

but-

ton for the low setting. Press the

button for the high setting. To turn off the fl ood light, press the ON/OFF

button

again .

If the fl ood light does not turn on with a fully charged battery pack, remove the battery pack for one minute and
then reinsert to reset the fl oodlight.

Hang/Mount
There are many ways to orient the fl ood light to best suit your job.
• Hang or hold the fl ood light from the top handle.
• Set the fl ood light on one of eight sides.
• Use the key-hole to hang the fl ood light on a screw.
• The notch in the side bar can balance the fl oodlight on a wire.
• Mount on a user-built stand using a 3/4" bar.
• String up on a wire run through the pass-through holes.

Cleaning
Keep tool handles clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the tool, bat-
tery pack and charger since certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful to plastics and other insulated parts.
Some of these include gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia
and household detergents containing ammonia. Never use fl ammable or combustible solvents around tools.

Maintain Flood light
Keep your fl ood light, battery pack and charger in good repair by adopting a regular maintenance program. If the
fl ood light does not work properly, return the fl ood light to a MILWAUKEE service facility for repairs.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING

To reduce the risk of injury, always unplug the charger and remove the

battery pack from the charger or tool before performing any maintenance. Never disassemble the tool,
battery pack or charger. Contact a MILWAUKEE
service facility for ALL repairs.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of personal injury and damage, never immerse your

tool, battery pack or charger in liquid or allow a liquid to fl ow inside them.

• S’il s’agit d’un outil rechargeable,
utiliser exclusivement le chargeur fourni par le fabricant afi n de le recharger.
• Savoir votre éclairage par projection. Lire attentivement ce manuel pour apprendre les applications et les

limites de votre éclairage par projection, ainsi que les risques spécifi ques relatifs à son utilisation.

• Doit être rechargée seulement avec le chargeur spécifi é pour la pile. Un chargeur adapté à un certain type

de pile peut créer un risque d’incendie s’il est utilisé avec d’autres piles.

• N’utiliser l'éclairage par projection qu’avec le bloc-piles recommandé. L'usage de toutes autres piles peut

créer un risque d'incendie.

• Lorsque le bloc-batterie n'est pas en service, tenez-le à l'écart d'autres objets métalliques (trombones,

pièces de monnaie, clés, clous, vis, etc.) susceptibles d'établir un contact électrique entre les deux
bornes.
La mise en court-circuit des bornes de la batterie peut produire des étincelles et constitue un risque
de brûlures ou d'incendie.

• Entretenez les étiquettes et marques du fabricant. Les indications qu'elles contiennent sont précieuses. Si

elles deviennent illisibles ou se détachent, faites-les remplacer gratuitement à un centre de service MILWAUKEE
accrédité.

AVERTISSEMENT

Ne recharger la batterie qu’avec le chargeur spécifi é.

Pour les instructions de charge spécifi ques, lire le manuel d’utilisation fourni avec le chargeur et les
batteries.

Insertion du bloc de piles dans l’outil
Insérez
le bloc de piles à partir de l'avant en le faisant glisser dans le corps de l'outil. Insérez le bloc de
piles jusqu'à ce que son loquet se verrouille.
Pour retirer le bloc de piles, enfoncez les deux loquets de la pile et faites glisser le bloc hors de l'outil.

AVERTISSEMENT

Pour réduire les risques de blessures, ne pas regarder

directement dans la source lumineuse lorsque l'éclairage est allumé.

Utilisation
Pour allumer l'éclairage par projection, appuyer sur le bouton

« On/Off » (Marche/Arrêt). La lumière est en

mode élevé par défaut. Appuyer sur le bouton

pour le réglage bas. Appuyer sur le bouton

Si l'éclairage par projection ne s'allume pas en utilisant un bloc-pile complètement chargé, retirer le bloc-pile et
attendre 1 minute avant de le réinsérer pour réinitialiser l'éclairage par projection.

Suspendre / Monter
Vous pouvez orienter votre éclairage par projection de plusieurs façons pour satisfaire le mieux à votre travail.
• Suspendre ou soutenir l'éclairage par projection de la poignée supérieure.
• Mettre l'éclairage par projection sur l'un de ses huit côtés.
• Utiliser le trou de serrure pour suspendre l'éclairage sur une vis.
• L'encoche dans la barre latérale peut mettre l'éclairage en équilibre sur un fi l.
• Monter sur un support installé par l'utilisateur à l'aide de la barre de 19 mm (3/4")
• Enchaîner sur un fi l traversant les passe-fi ls.

Entretien de l'éclairage par projection
Garder l'éclairage par projection, le bloc-piles et le chargeur en bon état en le soumettant à un programme
d’entretien régulier. Si l’éclairage par projection ne fonctionne toujours pas correctement, le confi er à un centre
de service MILWAUKEE afi n de le faire réparer.

MAINTENANCE

AVERTISSEMENT

Pour minimiser les risques de blessures corporelles,

débranchez le chargeur et retirez la batterie du chargeur ou une lampe torche avant d’y effectuer
des travaux d’entretien. Ne démontez jamais une lampe torche, la batterie ou le chargeur. Pour toute
réparation, consultez un centre de service MILWAUKEE
accrédité.

To make this warranty valid, present this warranty card, sealed/stamped by the distributor or store where you purchased the
product, to the Authorized Service Center (ASC). Or, if this card has not been sealed/stamped, present the original proof of
purchase to the ASC.
Call toll-free 1 800 832 1949 to fi nd the nearest ASC, for service, parts, accessories or components.

Procedure to make this warranty valid

Take the product to the ASC, along with the warranty card sealed/stamped by the distributor or store where you purchased the
product, and there any faulty piece or component will be replaced without cost for you. We will cover all freight costs relative
with this warranty process.

Exceptions

This warranty is not valid in the following situations:
a) When the product is used in a different manners from the end-user guide or instruction manual.
b) When the conditions of use are not normal.
c) When the product was modifi ed or repaired by people not authorized by TECHTRONIC INDUSTRIES.
Note: If cord set is damaged, it should be replaced by an Authorized Service Center to avoid electric risks.

BATTERY PACK LIMITED WARRANTY statements & battery charger and Work Lights*) is warranted to the original
purchaser only to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to certain exceptions, MILWAUKEE will
repair or replace any part on an electric power tool which, after examination, is determined by MILWAUKEE to be defec-
tive in material or workmanship for a period of fi ve (5) years* after the date of purchase unless otherwise noted. Return
of the power tool to a MILWAUKEE factory Service Center location or MILWAUKEE Authorized Service Station, freight
prepaid and insured, is required. A copy of the proof of purchase should be included with the return product. This warranty
does not apply to damage that MILWAUKEE determines to be from repairs made or attempted by anyone other than
MILWAUKEE authorized personnel, misuse, alterations, abuse, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or accidents.
*The warranty period for, Job Site Radios, M12™ Power Port, M18™ Power Source, and Trade Titan™ Industrial Work
Carts is one (1) year from the date of purchase. The warranty period for a LED Work Light and LED Upgrade Bulb is
a limited LIFETIME warranty to the original purchaser only, if during normal use the LED bulb fails the Work Light or
Upgrade Bulb will be replaced free of charge.
*This warranty does not cover Air Nailers & Stapler, Airless Paint Sprayer, Cordless Battery Packs, Gasoline Driven
Portable Power Generators, Hand Tools, Hoist – Electric, Lever & Hand Chain, M12™ Heated Jackets, Reconditioned
product and Test & Measurement products. There are separate and distinct warranties available for these products.
Warranty Registration is not necessary to obtain the applicable warranty on a MILWAUKEE power tool product. The
manufacturing date of the product will be used to determine the warranty period if no proof of purchase is provided at
the time warranty service is requested.
