Operating Instructions

IR-Pocket Infrared Thermometer

The thermometer is a non-contact infrared

thermometer.

USE:

Simply aim the thermometer at the target with the

probe and press the Meas. button to display the

surface temperature.

The distance to target diameter ratio (Distance:Spot)

is 1:1 therefore the device should be positioned as

close to the target as possible.

Battery Replacement:

When the battery icon flashes in the LCD,

the battery is low and should be replaced. Confirm

the unit is powered OFF, loosen the cover in a

counterclockwise direction and replace the two

LR44 1.5v cell batteries.

** Dispose of used battery properly and keep

away from children.

Measurement Range:

-27 to 230°F (-33 to 110°C)

Operating Range:

32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C)

Storage Range:

-4 to 149°F (-20 to 65°C)

Accuracy (Tamb=23±3°C):

+/-2.5% of reading or 4.5°F (2.5°C) whichever is greater

Resolution:

0.5°F (0.2°C) at -9.9 to 110°C, otherwise 1°F/1°C

Response Time (90%):
