Connecting several external gauge heads
It is possible to connect several external gauge heads simultaneously
to the CVC 3000 E controller. Maximum number of gauge heads of the
same type (VSK 3000 or VSP 3000) connected to one CVC 3000 E:
four. That is a total of eight external gauge heads at maximum. Up to
four additional gauge heads VSK 3000 may be connected as reference if
configured accordingly (see ”Measuring differential pressure”). Only the
readings of one gauge head are displayed at a time.

The VACUU•BUS address of the active gauge head is not shown in
the status line. The readings of all gauge heads are shown in the menu
”Sensors”.

Each gauge head needs an individual address (VSK 1 to VSK 4 /
VSP 1 to VSP 4) to communicate with the CVC 3000 E Controller via
VACUU•BUS. All gauge heads are shipped with their VACUU•BUS ad-
dress factory-set to VSK 1 or VSP 1.

Use your CVC 3000 E Controller to reconfigure the gauge head (e.g.,
changing the VACUU•BUS address from VSK 1 to VSK 2), see section
”Reconfiguring the gauge head”.

Select the menu item ”Sensors” in the menu ”Configuration”.

Connected gauge heads are displayed in the order of their VACUU•BUS
address: VSK 1 - VSP 1 - VSK 2 - VSP 2 - ... - VSP 4.

Select the desired gauge head by turning and pressing the selection
knob.

Press the selection knob again to exit the configuration menu.

The selected gauge head is not displayed in the status line as active
pressure transducer.
