The Compaq iPAQ Desktop is a sleek,

affordable, easy to deploy and manage
business PC—ideal for mainstream

computing, Internet / intranet access,
and Windows 2000 deployments.

There are two iPAQ™ Desktop

versions. The Compaq iPAQ Desktop

with Legacy Ports has traditional

legacy ports (parallel, serial, and PS/2)
for existing peripherals, running

Windows 2000, 98, or NT4. The
Compaq iPAQ Desktop Legacy-Free

features Windows 2000 or ME and six
USB ports for the new wave of USB

peripherals.

iPAQ Desktops deliver ease of

deployment, support, and usability by

eliminating ISA/PCI slots and focusing
on USB with Windows 2000 or

Windows ME.

Compaq Intelligent Manageability

provides solutions for remote cloning,

deployment, installation, configuration,
and backup/restore; single-click

scheduling for all management tasks;
and powerful brokering agents to

handle requests automatically and
communicate status to the

management console (Intelligent
Manageability is not supported under

Windows ME).

Innovative Compaq MultiBay

technology enables hot-swapping of
slimline CD-ROM, DVD-ROM,

SuperDisk LS-120 drive, Zip 250 drive,
and hard drive without the need to

reboot. The breakthrough industrial
design features a sleek, small footprint,

leaving the user more workspace.
