How to Install Freeze Dry Filter Paper

Place the lid on a
fl at surface. Place the fi lter
paper over the
opening of the lid.
Push the fi lter
paper into the lid
using an adapter. Make sure the fi lter
paper completely
covers the hold once
installed.
WARNING!
DO NOT INSTALL
THE FILTER PAPER
ON THE UNDERSIDE
OF THE LID.
During the freeze dry process, many samples may become a powder. Once this happens, the sample could be lost into
the vacuum. In these instances, the fi lter paper that is shipped with the Fast-Freeze fl asks can be used. The following
steps show the correct way to insert the fi lter paper into the freeze dry fl ask lid.
