Installation

Charging the Batteries

The unit is powered by a built-in, lithium-polymer rechargeable
battery. Charge the built-in battery for at least three hours before
using the device for the first time.

To charge the internal battery, connect the smaller end of the supplied
USB cable to the Micro USB jack (under the flap) and the other end to
a powered USB jack on your computer or an AC power supply (not
included). The Charging Indicator will light red when charging and will
change to green when the built-in battery becomes fully charged.

Note: The battery will provide approx. eight hours at normal listening
level.
When the battery is low, the Charging Indicator will blink red and
beep three times every minute. The unit will switch to Standby mode
automatically when the battery is too low to work properly.

CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Battery Notes:
• While using the built-in battery, the environmental temperature should be

5°C (41°F) to 35°C (95°F).

• To get the longest service life from the built-in battery, charge at indoor

temperature.

• The built-in battery in this device may present a risk of fire or chemical

burn if mistreated. Do not disassemble, heat above 100°C (212°F), or
incinerate.

• The battery should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire

or the like. Do not throw batteries in fire!

• Before throwing away any batteries, consult your local community for

specific recycling.

This speaker is supplied with a strap to hang it from a shower
pipe, faucet, or hook on the back of the bathroom door.

CAUTION: DO NOT HANG THE SPEAKER FROM A SHOWER PIPE
THAT IS SLOPING DOWNWARD. THE SPEAKER COULD SLIDE
FORWARD AND FALL OFF THE PIPE, RESULTING IN PERSONAL
INJURY, DAMAGE TO THE SPEAKER, OR BOTH. IF YOU USE THE
STRAP TO HANG THE SPEAKER MAKE SURE THAT IT IS IN A
SECURE LOCATION AND THAT IT WILL NOT MOVE.

Note: Although this speaker is water resistant, it should not be
placed in the direct path of the shower stream.

with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table
specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the
apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when
moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid
injury from tip-over.

10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for

long periods of time.

11. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is

required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such
as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or
objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has
been dropped.

12. CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire or explosion, do not expose

batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or other heat
sources.
