Specifications

Your SOUNDMASTER Cube requires four (4) AAA batteries (not included). To
install the batteries, carefully turn it over and place it upside down on a soft
surface. The battery compartment is located on the base. Press the side tabs and
lift to release the lid of the battery compartment. Install four AAA batteries,
making sure to match the polarity (+ and -) with the diagram inside the battery
compartment. Replace the lid by pressing on the side tabs and returning it to its
original position. Release the side tabs once the lid is secure. You can also power
your SOUNDMASTER Cube by using an AC adapter*. To use the AC adapter,
connect it to the AC adapter input jack located on the back of the unit. Plug the
AC adapter into an electrical outlet.

Installing Batteries

Carefully remove your SOUNDMASTER Cube from the packaging. Open the unit
by gently pulling apart the speaker body and extending the unit. Power your
SOUNDMASTER Cube by either installing four AAA batteries or using the AC
adapter*. Please read the Installing Batteries section. Plug your device into the
SOUNDMASTER CUBE using the attached 3.5mm speaker cable. Once your
device is plugged in and the unit is powered, turn the switch to the ON position.
When the unit is on, the light will turn on. If your headphones are plugged into
the jack, your speakers will not play.

Using Your SOUNDMASTER Cube

If there is no sound from your speakers, please check the following:
• The batteries may be incorrectly installed in the battery compartment. If this is
the case, reinstall the batteries, making sure to match the polarity. If this doesn’t
work, try using new batteries.
• Check the AC adapter* to ensure it is securely plugged into the SOUNDMASTER
Cube and the electrical outlet.
• The audio device may not be fully plugged into the speaker or may be plugged
into the wrong jack. If this is the case, carefully inspect your audio device and
plug the cable into the correct jack, making sure the connection is secure.
• The audio input cable to the unit may not be plugged in correctly. Securely
connect the audio input cable.
• The volume setting of your device may be turned off or too low. If this is the
case, increase the volume.
