H3C Slide Rails Installation Guide
1 Application scope
The H3C slide rails have two models, whose length is in the range from 350 mm (13.78 in) to 550 mm
(21.65 in), and from 500 mm (19.69 in) to 800 mm (31.50 in). Before using a slide rail, note the following
guidelines:
• The depth of the rack falls into the length range of the slide rail.
• A set of slide rails can bear a weight of no more than 350 kg (771.60 lb).
2 Installation procedures
NOTE:
•
The H3C slide rails are applicable only to four-post racks.
• The slide rail length varies with slide rail models. The figures in this document are for illustration only.
• The installation of slide rails might vary with different types of racks. The following installation procedure
is for your reference only.
Follow these steps to install a slide rail:
Step1 Read the signs on the slide rail (see Table 1 ) to avoid installation mistake.
