Simplified User Interface.

Honeywell is making a running change to the user interface of our TrueSTEAM™ Humidification Systems to provide additional clarity
on the actions required to service and clean the unit. You’ll be able to easily identify which model you’re working with by locating the
date code on the TrueSTEAM box or on the unit itself located behind the right side handle. Here’s what you need to know about the
user interface to install, service and clean Honeywell TrueSTEAM.

POWER LED

• Solid green light indicates correct installation
• Solid green light plus a blinking red Service light indicates installation error (see manual)

HUMIDIFYING LED

• Solid green light indicates that the unit is humidifying
• No light indicates that a humidity call is not present
• Blinking green light indicates there is a call for humidity, but humidification has not started. This occurs when
the tank is filling or during the 5 minute standby period after manual cleaning.

EMPTY LED

• Solid green light indicates that draining is complete, the tank is empty and can be removed for
manual cleaning

SERVICE LED

• Blinking red light indicates a specific error code. Match the number of flashes to the error code in the
manual to identify the maintenance needed. Press and hold the Go button to clear the blinking.

DRAINING LED

• Blinking yellow light indicates the unit is draining

CLEANING REQUIRED LED

• Blinking yellow light indicates cleaning is required. Follow the arrow and press the Drain button to initiate
draining for manual cleaning.


DRAIN BUTTON

• Press and hold to drain the unit before cleaning (see above)
• To bypass the flushing cycle and drain the unit immediately, press and hold the Drain and Go buttons to initiate
a fail-safe manual drain override. Caution: This will immediately drain the tank regardless of water temperature.
Make sure the drain outlet can handle water temperature up to 212ºF to prevent damage or leaks.

GO BUTTON

• Press and hold to clear blinking Service light after error has been eliminated (see above)
• Press and hold with the Drain button to initiate a fail-safe manual drain override

POWER LED

• Solid green light indicates correct installation
• Solid green light plus a solid red Call Service LED indicates installation error (see manual)


HUMIDIFYING LED

• Solid green light indicates the unit is humidifying
• No light indicates that a humidity call is not present


CLEAN TANK LED

• Blinking yellow light indicates the unit is draining
• Solid yellow light indicates that draining is complete, the tank is empty and can be removed for cleaning

CALL SERVICE LED

• Solid red light indicates that an error is found
• Press and hold the Reset button, a blinking red light will indicate a specific error code. Match the number
of blinks to the error code in the manual to identify the maintenance needed. Once complete, press and
hold Reset to clear the blinking.


PRESS RESET LED

• Blinking yellow light indicates that TrueSTEAM is in stand-by mode checking performance status. This
happens when power is applied at initial install, or after the tank is reconnected following a manual cleaning.
TrueSTEAM will automatically reset after 5 minutes or press and hold Reset for immediate operation.


PRESS EMPTY LED

• Blinking yellow light indicates that cleaning is required. Press and hold the Empty button to initiate the
draining cycle for cleaning.


RESET BUTTON

• Press and hold to determine error code when Call Service light is blinking (see above)
• Press and hold to clear blinking Call Service light after error has been eliminated (see above)
• Press and hold to cancel draining.

EMPTY BUTTON

• Press and hold until the Clean Tank LED starts blinking to indictate the tank will begin the flushing and
draining cycle
• CAUTION: TrueSTEAM will bypass the flushing cycle if the Empty button is pressed and held during the
draining cycle. This will immediately drain the tank regardless of water temperature. Make sure the drain
outlet can handle water temperature up to 212ºF to prevent damage or leaks.
