1.5 Turning the Phone On and Off
After installing your SIM card and battery and charging the battery, you can now
power on and start using your phone.
To turn on the power
Press the END/POWER button for a few seconds.
When you turn on your phone for the first time, the phone installs
customization settings and then restarts.
To turn off the power
Press the END/POWER button for a few seconds.
Select Yes on the confirmation screen.
1.6 Home Screen
The Home screen lets you quickly access various information, programs, and
settings on your phone. To access the Home screen anytime, press the HOME key.

and choose from the available programs.
2 The title bar at the top of the screen displays
status icons and notifications, such as missed
calls, new messages, battery status, Bluetooth
and Wi-Fi connection status, and more. For more

3 The Home screen has several panels, and the
screen displays the panel that you selected
using the TRACKBALL. See “Home screen panels”
for details..
4 Press the right SOFT KEY to open the program
or perform the function displayed above the
button.
