How to enter a text or a number
A number can be made up to a maximum of 40 digits, depending on your SIM card.
To facilitate dialling from any location world wide, it is a good idea to save all phone
numbers, even local ones with their international prefix, country code and area code.
The
+ character may only be inserted at the beginning of a phone number and be may
used instead of the usual international prefix before the country code.
To correct mistakes when dialling a number or editing text, press on the key for each
number or letter to be erased. A long press on the key enables you
to return to the idle or standby mode.
Making a call
In the standby mode:

• Enter the phone number using the keypad.
• Press .
The phone dials the number.
• After the call is completed, press to hang up.
You may also make a call directly in the names list as explained on pages 6 & 23,
and in this case the name that is stored with that number will appear directly on
the display rather than the phone number.
If a number has been programmed on a direct access key, you can call the number
directly by a long press on the pre-programmed key (see page 24).
