CONVERSION
MOWER DECKS
A complete mower deck can be ordered for replacement if
required. Incomplete decks are also available via the John
Deere Parts system. These decks include the shell, discharge
chute, and decals.
The 42-in. mower deck comes with two medium-lift blades
for normal cutting and bagging conditions. (High-lift
blades, GX20433, are available from Parts for special con-
ditions.)
The 48-in. mower deck comes with three medium-lift
blades for normal cutting and bagging conditions. (High-lift
blades, GX20434, and high-performance mulching blades,
GX20819, are available from Parts for special mowing con-
ditions.)
42-IN. HIGH-PERFORMANCE MULCH PLUG KIT
A mulch cover is included standard on the L100, L108,
L111, and L118 42-in. mowers. If a customer wishes higher
performance in the mulching application, order this
high-performance mulch kit.
• Consists of a mulching plug attachment that creates two
separate mulching chambers.
• Designed for use with the standard mower blades, so no
blades are included.
48-IN. HIGH-PERFORMANCE MULCHING BLADE
A mulch cover is included standard on the L120 and L130
48-in. mowers.
If a customer wishes higher performance in the mulching
application, order this high-performance mulching blade.
REAR TIRE CHAINS
Recommended for use when operating with a front blade or
snow thrower mounted on the front of the tractor.
REAR WEIGHT BRACKET AND WEIGHTS
Recommended for use when operating with a front blade or
snow thrower mounted on the front of the tractor.
FRONT WHEEL WEIGHTS
Front wheel weights are recommended when operating with
a 6-1/2 bushel rear bagger on hills and inclines.
