42-In. Mower
The 42-in. two-spindle, three-in-one mower is constructed
of 12-gauge (.105-in., 2.7 mm) steel.
• Requires no tools to go from mulching to side dis-
charge to rear bagging.
• Mulch cover is standard equipment.
• High-performance mulch plug (BM20813) is an
optional attachment.
The deck has a rolled lip to provide greater strength and
protection for the mower itself. A patented blade-to-spindle
adaptor provides a unique two-point mounting for the
mower blade to provide extra safety and enhanced cutting
performance.
A cut-n-throw 6-1/2 bushel rear bagger is sold separately.
A complete mower deck can be ordered as a replacement
part (see Attachments for Field Conversion).
48-In. Mower
The 48-in. mower deck is a three-spindle design with
heavy-duty characteristics.
• Four mower wheels are standard equipment for a
smooth mowing job, even in rolling terrain.
• Flexible discharge chute minimizes property and
mower deck damage.
• Requires no tools to go from mulching (with mulch
cover) to side discharge to rear bagging.
• Mulch cover is standard equipment.
• A high-performance mulching blade (GX20819) is
available to enhance mulching performance.

dependable mowing.

MOWER DECK HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Spring-assisted, low-effort lift lever simplifies setting and
adjusting the mower cut height with the L Series Lawn
Tractors. The standard cut-height memory indicator allows
the operator to choose the same cut height each time the
grass is cut.
12-VOLT POWER OUTLET (L120 and L130)
12-volt power port offers customers the ability to use acces-
sories requiring electric power. This provides enhanced util-
ity of the tractor. John Deere attachments for use with the
power port include a grab light and oscillating fan.
