TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex, Inc. warrants this appliance to be free from
defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the
date of original purchase, except as noted. There is no warranty with respect
to the following, which may be supplied with this appliance: glass parts, glass
containers, cutter/strainer, nonstick soleplate and/or nonstick cooking sur-
faces. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser and
does not cover damage from abuse, neglect, use for commercial purposes,
or any other use not found in the printed directions. HAMILTON
BEACH/PROCTOR-SILEX, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR INCIDENTAL LOSSES CAUSED BY USE
OF THIS APPLIANCE. Some states, or provinces, do not allow this exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential losses, so the foregoing disclaimer
may not apply to you. If you have a claim under this warranty, DO NOT

1. Do not overfill the water tank.
2. If steam ironing, is the temperature dial in the

steam range and did the iron have enough time
to preheat?

3. If dry ironing, make sure the STEAM or DRY

IRON/CLEAN switch is in the DRY IRON/CLEAN
position.

1. Check the water level.
2. Is the STEAM or DRY IRON/CLEAN switch in the

STEAM position?

3. Has the iron had enough time to preheat?
4. Has the iron been cleaned with the self-clean

feature to clear the steam valve?

1. Is the iron plugged in and the outlet working?

Check the outlet by plugging in a lamp.

2. Is the temperature control dial turned to a fabric

setting?

3. If auto shutoff model, is the AUTOMATIC SHUT-

OFF LIGHT illuminated? If not, unplug the iron
and plug back in to reset.

Leaves
spots

1. ALWAYS empty the water tank of the iron after

using. Water left in the tank may discolor cloth-
ing and soleplate.

2. To clean occasional build-up on the soleplate, wipe with a

sudsy cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers or metal scour-
ing pads.

3. Always store iron upright in the heel rest position.
