Make certain all movement of cutter
nents has stopped before opening blade
access cover.
Always wear relatively and belted
clothing t o avoid entanglement In
parts. Wear sturdy, rough-soled work shoes
and protective equipment for eyes, hands,
hearing and head.
Operate PTO at 2,000 rpm maximum.
Turn tractor engine off, remove key, lower
mower t o ground before performing any
service or malntenance.
Block mower securely before working
underneath.
Keep all persons away from operator control
area while performing adjustments,
or malntenance.
Make sure tractor PTO spring-activated
locking collar slides freely and Is seated
firmly
In mower driveline spline groove.
SERVICE
LUBRICATION INFORMATION (figure 11)
Do not let excess grease collect on or around parts,
particularly when operating in sandy areas.
The illustration shows lubrication
points. The chart gives the frequency of lubrication
in operating hours, based on normal operating
conditions. Severe
or unusual conditions may
require more frequent lubrication. reference
numbers have than one location; be sure you
lubricate all locations.
Use a good quality SAE multi-purpose type grease
in all locations. Be sure to clean fittings thoroughly
before attaching grease gun.
