Power Trim/Tilt Switch

The power tilt switch is located on
the engine pan. It is a rocker switch
with UP and DN (down) positions
for changing the angle of the
outboard motor.

The power tilt switch will operate
without turning the ignition switch
ON.

This switch is used with the engine
stopped to raise the outboard motor
for mooring, trailering or
maintenance.

The power trim/tilt switch is located
on the control lever or the tiller
handle. It is a rocker switch with UP
and DN (down) positions for
changing the angle of the outboard
motor.

Tilt the outboard motor for shallow
water operation, beaching, launching,
or mooring.

Trim the outboard motor to obtain
the best performance and stability

You can use the power trim/tilt
switch anytime without turning the
ignition switch is ON, whether the
boat is underway or stopped.
