6.7 Emergency default
If you have lost your PIN code, you can still restore your S12
to its default settings.
1. Remove the batteries from the handset.
2. Press and hold

while replacing the batteries.
The display shows DEFAULT .
3. Press

to confirm. Your S12 will restart automatically.
6.8 Eco mode
Your S12 offers ECO mode function which reduces the
transmitted power and energy consumption when switched on.
To switch Eco mode on:
1. Press

to select ON or OFF and press

to
confirm.
When Eco mode is switched off, the circle around
disappears.
NOTE
When ECO mode is set to ON, the handset range will be
reduced.
